How to care for my gold plated jewelry?

At sera , we understand the importance of jewelry looking like the first day, and that is why we want to provide you with some infallible recommendations for its long-term care and maintenance .

  • Don't bathe with your jewelry. Soap, hot water, conditioners, chlorine from swimming pools and sea salt contribute to the deterioration of your jewelry.
  • Avoid exposure to chemicals , detergents, perfumes and cosmetic products. Put on your jewelry once the perfume and cream are dry.
  • When you do physical exercise , remove your jewelry so that the sweat does not react with the skin and the piece does not lose its shine.
  • Use a jewelry box to store your jewelry.

How do we take care of your jewelry?

At sera , we work hard to ensure that our products are made with the best materials and have a positive impact on your life and how you perceive our brand.

All our gold jewelry is made in 925 Sterling Silver and 18K gold plated , with an additional e-coating layer for optimal protection.

Our gold-plated jewelry differs from fine plating in the thickness of the gold layer and the method used. In particular, our rings are plated using the Gold Vermeil technique, which guarantees a minimum thickness of 2.5 microns in each piece. We know first-hand that rings are the jewels that suffer the most friction and wear, and that is why we have made them especially resistant.

We are very proud of the quality of our jewelry, so we hope you are too.
